Blister Packaging
Our high speed blister packaging capabilities provide unmatched flexibility in design and dimensions. Our blister packaging equipment enables us to produce multiple product count packages, custom designs, and high volume items. We ensure fast, accurate and efficient operation that minimizes packaging costs.
Our high speed face seal blister packaging machinery enables us to provide the Eco-Friendly trapped blister package. This style of package consists of a recycled blister sandwiched between two paperboard cards. The trapped blister package is an alternative to a clamshell package. In most cases, the trapped blister is more cost effective than a clamshell due to less plastic, faster production rates, and heat seal tooling instead of radio frequency tooling. In addition to cost savings, other advantages of this style of package include increased graphics area, safe and easy opening features, security, and recyclable materials. This type of retail package can be used for less expensive items such as pens or batteries to expensive electronic items.
Radio Frequency Sealing
Using high frequency radio waves, we seal plastic to plastic components to create a package that is ideal for large products or multiple product packages. This type of sealing technology acts as a theft deterrent for more expensive products.
Skin Packaging
Ideal for packaging a product for display, shipping or protection, our skin packaging capabilities employ a thin clear plastic film that has been shrunk over the product and adhered to a board. Skin packaging provides a visually appealing and flexible solution that allows you to change the configuration and size of the product yet still use the same board. We deliver a quick turnaround time and low tooling costs.
Auto Bagging/Shrink Wrapping
Our auto bagging and shrink wrap solutions are available in an unlimited variety of poly-bagging options from printed to plain and with or without hangers. Our sealing capabilities are up to 12" wide and with unlimited length and batch counting.
There are many options available when choosing a poly bag. Do you need a zipper bag, a lip-n-tape bag, a gusseted bag, a printed bag, etc? We are here to assist you in the design and loading of your package.
Using our automatic or semi-automatic wrapping machinery we are able to shrink wrap a variety of products and packages, up to 21" wide, 33" long, and 10" tall. This type of packaging is ideal for bundling/unitizing packages or products together, keeping packages or products clean, providing tamper evidence, and deterring theft. For your retail products, we only use films with the highest clarity to give your product a clean, crisp look.
Folding Cartons
Our versatile assembly lines can accommodate just about any tuck style folding carton. The high end graphics, windows, and structure of a folding carton will really help your package stand out. We will custom design the folding carton to fit your product. The package can sit on the shelf or hang on a peg. A folding carton can also be used as a secondary/inner pack to contain multiple packages. This use will help protect your packages through distribution. We can also provide clear folding cartons, if you would prefer to show off your product. This type of package is also Eco-Friendly when using soy-based inks, aqueous coatings, and recyclable material. A folding carton is one of the most common styles for a retail package.
Bottle and Tube Filling
To further aid the customer in a complete package project, Sterling Contract Packaging has the capabilities to fill both plastic and glass bottles as well as plastic and metal tubes. Filling capacities range from .5 ounces to 8 ounces for bottles, and .25 ounce to 8 ounces for tubes. Internationally sourced tubes and bottles provide additional savings for the customer.
